If you are a current member of French Creek Valley Conservancy, please join us on Sunday, October 15 as we celebrate the transition from summer to fall with a short excursion on French Creek. We’ll be paddling from Bicentennial Park in Meadville to Wilson Chutes. We’ll learn a little bit about the French Creek watershed along the way, and enjoy some snacks and French Creek fellowship after.
Approved PFDs must be worn on the water, and per PA Fish and Boat regulations, you must also have a whistle on your person. Because we will be landing at a launch owed by the PA Fish and Boat Commission, you must have a current launch permit on your boat. You can go directly to the Northwest PA Regional Office at 11528 PA-98, Meadville, PA 16335, or you can find a list of reseller agent for launch permits here. This event is for ages 16 and up.
