As an accredited land trust, French Creek Valley Conservancy has land conservation at the heart of our mission. While that means we protect land for wildlife habitat and healthy streams, is also means we ensure that generations to come will be able to enjoy French Creek. Our properties are protected from development but not from recreational use; some of them are open to the public for hiking, birding, and enjoying the beauty of the watershed.
French Creek Valley Conservancy is a private, 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization. Your generous gift directly supports our the work to protect and promote French Creek through the coordination of land protection, education, outreach and research.

The work of preserving the diversity of the French Creek watershed will never be finished. It will require effort and financial support from current and future generations of people who care about the environment.
You can help ensure that we will always be able to enjoy this diverse ecosystem with a gift to French Creek Valley Conservancy Land Protection & Stewardship Endowment Fund. Gifts to the fund are permanently invested so we will have your financial support forever. Each year, we receive some of the money from the fund.
You can make a gift in any amount and almost any form (cash, bonds, stocks or appreciated assets and property). The fund may also be designated beneficiary (in whole or in part) of a life insurance policy, individual retirement account (IRA) or charitable trust. You can also give in honor or memory of a special person as a Memorial Donation.

ERIE GIVES DAY:
The Erie Community Foundation sponsors Erie Gives Day every year in early August as an online giving event to help out local charities working within Erie County.
In 2020, FCVC had a record-shattering year, with donations over $58,000!! Thanks to the many contributors and a very generous donor who matched all the donations dollar for dollar—we were overwhelmed with the support shown to FCVC. Our total donations including the matching funds from the Erie Community Foundation and our anonymous donor totaled $115, 758.45!!!! That same donor has pledged the same matching offer for 2021.
So, plan to give this year—8:00 AM to 8:00 PM! Help us to reach our goal of $100,000!
In addition to online contributions, Erie Gives will now accept donations via check—as long as they are received by August 10th and are accompanied by the online form.
